just finished the perks of being a wallflower. i didnt think it was as great as i thought it would be, but it was good. i think its just that i couldnt really identify with a lot of what teh character goes through. and the tone and voice was weird. just different from those kind of dry humor books that i like, like rewind and speak. melinda was a lot easier to relate to than charlie...even though pretty much the entire conflict in speak was that melinda was raped.
there were some parts that were good though. like the onyl part i could really relate to is when he goes:
"It's kind of like when you look at yourself in the mirror and you say your name. And it gets to a point where none of it seems real."
because i know exactly what the author meant by that. which is weird since i dont think its a very significant part of the book.
i think that i kind of missed the entire concept of the book. i dont really understand what happened to charlie in teh epilouge. i think he liek went into an intense state of depression or something...hmm.
well anyway im glad i read it since i found my favorite poem from it, plus, theres this quote:
"we accept the love we think we deserve"
which i think could not be more true. kind of the story of my life but anyway.

sooo thats my review for the perks of being a wallflower. i still reccomend you read it, even though i didnt really get anythign out of it besides two quotes and a poem. maybe youllget something out of it.

and because im even more completely bored...

hi. bored again.
had amazing suburbiesta con sara melissa feinman y bendes a la casa de sara. muy divertido. estes son los photos de suburbiesta. =|

i hate to use the term "ridin dirty" but uh. yeah.

most extreme game ever that i fail at. but evidently, sara is pretty damn beast.

me riding sara..now that i look at that hat it was less of a cowboy hat and more like a sombrero...most likely belonging to jam or sake.

yeah so im still bored lke 5 minutes later.
and i want to thank ali or reccomending i read the perks of being a wallflower because i have no found my favote poem of all time and its the best thng ever and i thought i would share it ith twho ever may be chosing toread this, since i have aready wsted your life with my tpid pictures

i dont think it has a title or author but...here:

once on a yellow piece of paper,
he wrote a poem
and he called it "chops"
because that was the name of his dog.
and that's what it was about
and his teacher gave him an A
and a gold star
and his mother hung it on he door
and read it to his aunts
that was the year father tracy
took all the kids to the zoo
and let them sing on the bus
that was the year his little sister was born
with tiny toenails and no hair
and his mother and father kissed a lot
and the girl around the corner sent him a
valentine signed with a row of x's
and he had to ask his father what the x's meant
and his father always tucked him in at night
and was always there to do it
once on a piece of white paper with blue lines
he wrote a poem called "autumn"
because that was the name of the season
and that's what it was all about
and his teacher gave him an A
and asked him to write more clearly
and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because of its new paint
and the kids told him
that father tracy smoked cigars
and left butts on the pews
and sometimes they would burn holes
that was the year his sister got glasses
with thick lenses and black frames
and the girl around the corner laughed
when he asked her to go see santa claus
and the kids told him why
his mother and father kissed a lot
and his father never tucked him in at night
and got mad
when he cried for him to do it
once on a piece of paper torn from his notebook
he wrote a poem
called "innocence; a question"
because that was the question about his girl
and that's what is was all about
and his professor gave him an A
and a strange steady look
and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because he never showed her
that was the year that father tracy died
and he forgot how the end

and he caught his sister
making out on the back porch
and his mother and father never kissed
or even talked
and the girl around the corner
wore too much makeup
that made him cough when he kissed her
but he kissed her anyway
because that was the thing to do
and at three a.m he tucked himself into bed
his father snoring soundly
that's why on the back of a brown paper bag
he tried another poem
and he called it "absolutely nothing"
because that's what it was really about
and he gave himself an A
and a slash on each damned wrist
and he hung it on that bathroom door
because he didn't think
he could reach the kitchen

im sure this is a lot of other peoples favorite poems too but....<3 i love it.
in the book it said that it was some guys scuicide not that he left for his parents.
that kid was skilled. what a waste of talent.
